Stirling Variety Meats

Nestled in the scenic Adelaide Hills, Chris and Giselle’s butcher shop is a testament to tradition, quality, and dedication. With over 25 years of experience in the meat produce business, Chris brings unparalleled expertise and a passion for his craft.

Completing his apprenticeship more than a quarter of a century ago, Chris has since committed himself to preserving the art of traditional butchery, a trade that is becoming increasingly rare in today’s fast-paced world.

The new website is designed to reflect their dedication to traditional butchery and to provide their customers with an easy and informative shopping experience.

The website build showcases Stirling’s history, products, and their services. The website allows customers to discover the complete range of premium meats, and see why Adelaide Hills Premier Butcher Shop remains a beloved fixture in the community.

The build

Working with Chris and Giselle was an absolute delight. They had already garnered an impressive following on social media, thanks to their engaging content and active online presence. However, their existing website wasn’t serving its purpose as an effective business tool, largely due to their hectic schedules. Recognising the need for a dynamic and functional online platform, we collaborated closely with their Marketing Adviser to craft a website that truly aligned with their business needs and goals.

Our primary focus was to leverage their excellent google reviews and robust social media following, channeling this positive energy through the new website. We ensured that the site was not only visually appealing but also user-friendly and optimised for conversions. By integrating customer testimonials, social media feeds, and interactive features, we created a seamless experience that reflected their brand’s authenticity and trustworthiness.

This holistic approach allowed us to maintain their connection with existing followers while also attracting new customers.

AMIC is the peak body representing retailers, processors and smallgoods manufacturers across the country.

The Australian Meat Industry Council helps their members achieve and maintain profitability.

AMIC are a powerful voice for the meat industry. They ensure their members are recognised for the crucial role they play in the agribusiness supply chain. They support their members to continue creating jobs in Australia and to continue to feed the Australian economy.

When it comes to creating a website, having a clear vision of what you want is key to making the process as smooth as possible. That’s exactly what AMIC’s head of communications had when they reached out to Creative Clicks for help.

Despite the fact that the previous CMS website had been worked on by many individuals over the years, it still wasn’t user-friendly and lacked creativity in its design.

With a clear understanding of what AMIC wanted, Creative Clicks was able to work hand-in-hand with the communications team to map out a new site. By doing so, they were able to provide a website that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also provided better functionality.

This was achieved by ensuring that the site was easy to navigate and that it loaded quickly, ensuring that users could find the information they needed without any frustration.

The build

Before beginning the new build for AMIC it was essential to update the website’s plugins and PHP. Outdated plugins and PHP versions not only slowed down the site, but the website was vulnerable to security breaches.

When it came to designing the new AMIC CMS website, it was important to focus on user experience. Ensuring it was easy to navigate, visually appealing, and provide users with the information they need.

We used new Infographics to convey complex information in a clear and visually appealing way. They were also a great way to increase engagement on the website, as they’re easy to share on social media and other platforms.

Due to a complex menu structure, we used Mega Menus for the navigation which can display a large amounts of information in a clear and organised way, making it easy for users to find what they’re looking for.

We also added a visual flip book PDF feature to display content in a more engaging and interactive way, allowing users to flip through pages as if they were reading a physical book, to help keep them engaged and interested.

We continue to Working with the AMIC Marketing team on a monthly basis to ensure that their website is up-to-date and functioning properly. We provide our experience and knowledge in areas such as web design, development, and maintenance.
